Pee Wee Baseball Tournament

The Open “REP/AAA” Class of the 43th edition of the Gatineau Braves du coin Interprovincial Pee Wee Baseball Tournament will be held from the 28thof June to the of July 1st 2012

Top Major Pee Wee teams from Quebec and Ontario will compete in the Open “REP/AAA” Class to be crowned Champions of this high level Interprovincial sporting event.

Baseball Quebec proclaimed the Braves Du Coin Tournament the best tournament of the year three times and the last eigth years.

The tournament is open to all high calibre “REP/AAA” Pee Wee teams from Quebec and Ontario, which are affiliated with Baseball Canada.

Age of players: 13 years old and younger who do not reach their 14th birthday during the current calendar year.

Format of the Open Class “REP/AAA”:

Each team guaranteed to play a minimum of 3 games.

12 teams separated into four pools of three teams each.

Qualification round: 2 games round robin in each pool.

Elimination Round: 1st place team of each pool advance to the quarter-final, 2nd and 3rd place teams play in the eight of final.

Elimination Round: Eight of finals Saturday morning; quarter finals Saturday afternoon/evening; semi-finals (9:00 and 11:00 am) and the final (4:30 PM) Sunday the of July 2011.

The games are played at Moussette park, Gatineau (Quebec). The park is located on the bank of the Ottawa River facing the City of Ottawa. It’s located in between the Champlain and Chaudière bridges less than a 10-minute drive from downtown Ottawa.
